About Josh Cash
I'm a UX Designer based in Austin, TX. I like making things that are easy to use, grounded in real research, and actually solve the problem they set out to solve.
I recently graduated from St. Edward's University with a degree in UX Design. Between coursework and an internship where I rebuilt the campus map from scratch, I got a lot of practice talking to users, running tests, and iterating on designs until they actually work.
What keeps me interested in UX is the detective work — watching someone struggle with an interface, figuring out why, and then designing something better. Whether that's watching a parent wander campus with a useless PDF map or standing in a food truck line in 98° heat, I've learned the best insights come from showing up where your users are.
I'm looking for my first full-time UX Designer role — somewhere I can do real research, work with a team that cares about getting things right, and keep getting better at this.

Beyond the Screen
When I'm not designing, you'll find me:
- Exploring game development — I love interactive storytelling and designing player experiences
- Creating art and experimenting with visual styles
- Making and listening to music
- Writing stories — world-building and narrative design fascinate me
All of this feeds back into how I think about design — pacing, emotion, how someone moves through an experience. It's all connected.
